Hi, this is teacher Lily. I’m an experienced English teacher. When it comes to my teaching approach I really like to tailor my teaching approach to the individual learner’s needs. I believe every learner has varying individual needs and I tailor my classes to what works well for them, so the materials used in class can vary from one learner to another depending on their learning goals and needs, but these lessons are comprehensive and work on all the four main skills (i.e. speaking, listening, reading, writing). To help my learners improve much faster I also use short animations for beginner levels, in which learners can enhance speaking, listening, and writing skills. They can also learn lots of new and practical vocabularies. For intermediate levels and above, series classes with tasks are also available. The tasks include speaking, grammar, and vocabulary exercises which are really useful for improving general English.By taking series classes all the four main skills and also the sub-skills of vocabulary and grammar will be covered.

The main goal of language teaching is enabling learners to use the language productively in order to communicate well, thus the approach that particularly appeals to me and I mostly use in my classes is communicative approach as it helps learners to use the language for meaningful communication. I use carefully-leveled books in which all four skills are covered. I sometimes use authentic materials especially in blended learning parts and role-plays are practiced too.
Another approach which appeals to me is Affective-Humanistic as this approach focused on the value of human beings in society and it helped students to overcome their fear of language learning. As an EFL teacher I have witnessed that many learners have the fear of speaking in class and their anxieties prevent them from learning, thus I find this approach useful too.
I have been teaching English online for 4 years now. I have worked with all age groups and I’m familiar with each student’s needs and requirements. I have a 150 hour TESOL certificate. I learned all the recent techniques of teaching in that course.
