Hi! I'm Juella, born in the Philippines and raised in the United States. My passion for cultural exchange and education led me to Madrid, where I wanted to apply my International Relations degree with a focus on culture and my love for teaching. I also hold a certificate in Educational Psychology, which I used to inform my senior thesis on comparative parenting practices between the East and West. During a teaching internship in Madrid last year, I fell in love with both the people and the city, and I knew I had found my place. As a native English speaker, I’m dedicated to helping others enhance their language skills. Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling, practicing mindfulness through yoga, and getting lost in a good book.
