I have been doing this work in my Conversation Café session for over a year, then built a course around it in order to help other people.
This is because as much as we can learn a lot of grammar and vocabulary, how we apply it in spontaneous conversations often trips us up - many people stumble over their words, struggle to keep up with conversations in French and then find themselves repeatedly having to express themselves again. this is often due to still having English intonation, overlaying English vowel sounds and particularly struggling with the nasal sounds. All are covered in the hour.

I understand the mechanisms to sound French, as opposed to sounding English or American.
Living in France has proven that although having an accent is 'cute', we need to be able to be understood quickly, and to understand a conversation without being left behind. Doing the pronunciation work in a fun way has proven for each participant to have made a significant difference in their listening skills as well. That was a rather pleasant bonus for everyone!
My passion for work in the quality of learning means that I invest in the session being most worthwhile for everyone.
